Bill Stauffacher
Principal
With over thirty years’ experience at the Capitol, Bill walks the hill with an energetic presence – cultivating trusted relationships on both sides of the aisle that lead to successful outcomes for his clients. Before starting his firm in 1994, Bill was a top aide on the state House Democrats’ leadership team and oversaw swing district legislative campaigns. A 1989 graduate of WSU’s Edward R. Murrow College of Communication, Bill was elected student body president and today he serves as a WSU Foundation board member. And on numerous occasions, Bill has had the privilege of playing the grand piano at the Governor’s Mansion for three chief executives.
Ryan Hall
Client & Legislative Relations
Ryan Hall is the owner of Olympia Consulting, and she manages our firm’s client and legislative relations. Ryan’s talent, political smarts and trusted relationships with legislative staff allows Bill to focus on direct lobbying, strategic planning and client communications activities. With her never-ending ability to handle details with exceptional precision, Ryan keeps the wheels turning all year around. She is a graduate of the University of Washington.

As owner of The Clarke Company, Heather Clarke has been a valued partner of Stauffacher Communications since 2001. Considered the state’s elite consultant for political compliance and accounting, Heather ensures that Stauffacher Communications and its clients appropriately report all lobbying and campaign-related activities. A graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles, Heather also manages our firm’s financial administrative services.
